Demänovská Cave of Libertyis a karst cave in Low Tatras in Slovakia. Discovered in 1921 and opened to the public in 1924, it is the most visited cave in Slovakia. The public entrance is at an altitude of 870 metres. Of the total length of 8,126 metres, 1,800 metres are open to the public. Cave bear bones were found in a passage now named Bear's Passage. Large domes have been created with the largest being the Great Dome, which is 41m high, with a length of 75m and width of 35m.

The bear lives in Europe, Asia and North America. There lives brown bear species that grows up to 1,5 to 3 m. in length on the Slovak territory. Adult brown bear in Slovakia weighs 100-300 kg, in some cases even more. It has thick fur, of which color is from pale brown to dark brown and black. That's why we rarely can see two equally colored bears. He has a heavy body, a short tail, a rather small head with small eyes and short ears. The lynx is the biggest feline beast in Europe. It occurs in Central and Northeastern Europe and in part of North Asia. The length of an adult lynx living on the territory of Slovakia is approximately 100 cm, height about 70 cm and an average weight is 25 kg. Some ones may have up to 35 kg. Female lynx is smaller and lighter. The color of the body is variable, from yellow-reddish to rusty-gray. The whole body has more or less red-brown spots, some ones are without these spots. Popradské pleso is situated in Mengusovská Valley (Mengusovská dolina) in High Tatras (Vysoké Tatry) mountains. It has an area of depth of 17 m, and is located at altitude 1 494.3 m. a.s.l. The lake was created after the retreat of the glaciers in the last ice age. The valley was filled with water from the surrounding valleys and peaks. Popradské pleso is accessible for hikers throughout the year. The asphalt road leads to the lake, but access by car is possible only with a special permit.

Štrbské Pleso is a major centre for tourism and winter sports located in the High Tatras. It is situated at altitude of 1 346 m. above sea level. The name is derived from the village Štrba in High Tatras. It is a Esker Lake, created by the receding glacier. It It is the second largest water area on the Slovak side of the High Tatras - after the Large Hincovo lake (Veľké Hincovo Pleso) . Štrbské Pleso occupies the area 19,76 ha, its volume of water is approx. 1 284 0000 m ³ and reaches max. depth of 20 m.

Demänovská Ice Cave or Demänovská ľadová jaskyňa (in Slovak) is an ice cave in the Demänovská Valley (Low Tatra) in Slovakia. Domica is the biggest cave in the Slovak Karst in southern Slovakia, Rožňava District. It is a part of the cave complex that continues into the cave Baradla (Aggtelek) in Hungary. It was discovered in 1926 by Ján Majko. Since 1932, 1,600 metres  of the 5,140 metres are open to public. The cave is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list since 1995 as a part of Caves of Aggtelek Karst and Slovak Karst site.

Rocky Mountain Lake is a moraine lake in the High Tatras (Vysoké Tatry). It has an area of 1,23 ha, depth max. 2 m and has altitude 1 754 m. above sea level. Near is astronomical and meteorological observatory founded in year 1943. Rocky Mountain Lake is accessible from tourist centre Tatranska Lomnica - by cable car or foot hike. Dobšinská ice cave belongs among the most important ice caves in the world. Since 2000 it is inscribed on the world heritage list. Situated on the eastern foothill of the Silická Plateau (Silická planina) close to the Hrušov village. The cave was discovered through the inactive Eveteš spring by R. Boroš and T. Lazár in 1978. The spring cave is formed in three developmental levels, having the length of 780 m.
