Large Hincovo lake (Veľké Hincovo Pleso) - Slovakia
Large Hincovo lake (Veľké Hincovo pleso) is the biggest and deepest mountain lake in Slovak part of  High Tatras (Vysoké Tatry) and in Slovakia, too. It's area is 20,08 ha. It lies at an altitude of 1 944,8 m above sea level, in the Hlincova Valley (Hincova dolina), which is part of the Mengusovská Valley (Mengusovská dolina). The maximum depth is 54 m, length 740 m, width 370 m. The interesting thing is, that there lives trouts. Lake is the highest point of its occurrence in Slovakia and probably in Europe.
