The Count Dionýz and Frantíška Andrássy Mausoleum is located in the village of Krásnohorské Podhradie. It was built by count Dionýz Andrássy for his wife  and for himself in 1903-1904. It is a unique work of the early 20th century, inspired by early Christian,  Byzantine and Carolingian art. The Mausoleum was built according to the project of Munich architect Richard Berndl, and a team of Munich architects and artists was involved in the construction. Andy Warhol was born on 6th August 1928 in Pittsburgh to a family of Ruthenian immigrants issuing from the village of Miková close to Medzilaborce in the territory of present-day Slovakia. He had two elder brothers, Paul (b. 1922, d. 2014) and John (b. 1925, d. 2010). His father Andrej Varchola/Andrew Warhol (b. 1886, d. 1942) was working as labourer and miner. It is the only separate specialized display of Eastern Rite icons in Slovakia.
