The Kremnica Mountains (Kremnické vrchy) is a volcanic mountain range in central Slovakia in Region Banska Bystrica (Banskobystrický kraj), in districts Banská Bystrica and Žiar nad Hronom. Highest peak is Flochová (1 316,9 m. a.s.l.).
From a geomorphological point of view Kremnica Mountains (Kremnické vrchy) as a geomorphological whole is part of area Slovenské stredohorie : System: Alpine-Himalayan system -> Subsystem: Carpathians (Karpaty) -> Province: West Carpathians (Západné Karpaty) -> Subprovince: Inner West Carpathians (Vnútorné Západné Karpaty) -> Area: Slovenské stredohorie. Whole Kremnica Mountains (Kremnické vrchy) is divided into subwholes: Malachovské predhorie, Turovské predhorie, Jastrabská vrchovina, Kunešovská hornatina, Flochovský chrbát.
