Little Carpathians (Malé Karpaty) is a low about 100 km long mountain range in West Slovakia in Region Bratislava (Bratislavský kraj) - Bratislava, districts Pezinok, Malacky, in Region Trnava (Trnavský kraj) - districts Trnava, Piešťany, Senica, in Region Trenčín (Trenčiansky kraj) - districts Nové Mesto nad Váhom, Myjava. Highest peak is Záruby (768 m. a.s.l.). The width of the mountain range is small, widest point is only 16 km, at the narrowest point is its width less than 3 kilometres. The geographical part of the Little Carpathians are the Hainburger Berge (Hundsheimer Berge) in Austria, separated from the Little Carpathians by Danube river and Devín Gate (Devínska brána).
